Our down-to-earth family-run business, with its large natural garden and swimming biotope, is picturesquely situated near the forest and the river.

Hike or walk along the unspoiled banks of the Thaya River or around Austria’s longest fully preserved city wall. Discover cultural treasures such as Frain Castle, the World Heritage city of Telč, or Bitov Castle on cross-border bike tours and excursions. The Iron Curtain Trail and the Kamp-Thaya-March Bike Trail run right past us.

Here, the chef still cooks personally! We’ll treat your palate to Waldviertel delicacies, game dishes, and homemade pastries and poppy seed treats. We source most of our ingredients from our own farm and the surrounding region.
